Why choose Canadian made furniture? Discover Bermex at Casavogue
Choosing furniture made in Canada brings its makers and materials into the conversation. Alongside finding a table that fits or chairs in the right colour, it offers a chance to support local manufacturing and to understand how a piece is built. At Casavogue, Bermex brings that choice home through furniture made in Quebec, with wood finishes and upholstery options that leave room for individual preferences. Its appeal is putting Canadian craftsmanship in the rooms you actually live in.
Canadian craftsmanship in the furniture you use most
The value of craftsmanship becomes tangible in the furniture you use most: the finish beneath your hand, the character of the wood and the attention given to each component. Bermex works in North American birch, a hardwood that stands up to regular use better than the softwoods often used for frames, and selects the pieces that go into its furniture. Its natural variations mean two chairs of the same model are never quite identical, which is worth looking at closely before you choose. Choosing this furniture supports the people and the skills behind its production in Quebec, and brings the warmth of real wood into the home, with a grain and a colour that count as much as the shape.

Personal choices in wood, shape and finish
Furniture feels more personal when it works with the room you already have. Depending on the model, Bermex offers choices in dimensions, finishes and upholstery that help connect a new piece with the colours and materials already in place. A wood finish can echo the warmth of a floor, while upholstered chairs can introduce a softer texture. At Casavogue, the Expression dining table, with its round top and crossed arch base, and the Clara table, combining glass and wood, show two expressions of the same brand. They are starting points for a room shaped around your own preferences.
