How to create your perfect bedroom without buying a complete set
The best part of decorating is choosing each piece yourself. A bedroom lends itself to that more than any other room: nobody else really lives in it, and it ends up looking like whoever sleeps there. It is also the room where people give up fastest and buy a ready made set. Composing it yourself simply means watching four things: materials, finishes, proportions and colours.
Everything turns around the bed
Always start with the bed. It takes up the largest surface, so it sets the temperature of the room, and a padded headboard in a warm, velvety finish warms a bedroom far more effectively than a rug, which is exactly what the Lunaris bed by Charles David does. Choose the finish that fits your room
